Warranty:

Domminik uses willow and cane as natural materials in accordance with the laws of the game to make our products. These materials are crafted under extreme supervision by experts however they are still a natural product and are not unbreakable. They naturally deteriorate with use and general wear tear including use of poor-quality balls, mistimed shots, Yorkers, and excessive tapping etc. This makes impractical to decide on life of the product.

We offer a limited warranty against any fault of manufacture and material defects on all Domminik bats for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. These bats are fully hand-made, and we avoid using any machinery intervention as much as we can, hence a small variation may be expected due to its naturality of the product. Since these timbers absorb moisture from air naturally, sometimes the actual weight of the bat may slightly vary then mentioned and it is not a fault of the product. Warranty does not include are:

Over dry damage: Exposure to extreme heat or store the bat in such conditions (example – car boots, left under sun etc.) will dry out the willow which can cause a split/crack. Oiling the bat is strongly recommended ahead of each season to keep the bat moist for better life expectancy.

Damage by non-leather cricket balls: These bats are specially crafted to play with professional cricket leather balls (approved under laws of cricket) only. Use of any other material as a cricket ball may damage the bat to cause the crack.

Bowling machine usage: We strongly do not recommend using these bats to face a bowling machine to avoid any warranty claim issue.

Moisture damage in toe/blade: Playing under wet conditions (wet pitch/raining) can expose the bat to absorb excessive moisture from the ground, this softens the fibres which then open up with repeated tapping.

Edge cracks due to miss-timed shots: Miss-timing a shot, hit on a shoulder, preventing Yorkers are sensitive for bats made of soft timber and leads to a crack. Minor surface/edge cracking can be sealed with a glue but if it is excessive then a professional repair is recommended.

Insufficient knocking in: Insufficient knocking in will cause an unnatural dry out of wood and not ideally hard enough to face against cricket balls. Ignorance may lead to damage or crack.
